so i went out for a walk with Will, my boyfriend, and we went to the river to feed the ducks
on the way we stopped off to buy a 55p loaf of bread and some snacks that we could eat on the way
so when we got there it was slightly disapointing to see that there were no ducks to bloody feed
throwing bread at no one in particular one by one they came waddling up to us and nicking the bread that wed thrown in
one duck in particular came waddling up behind us and quacked in our ears, after some pursuasion from Will i held out a piece of bread to it and it gobbled it up from my hands
thats was until i accidently gave it a piece that was a bit hard and big (no rude intentions) and it got it stuck
it went away to what we think was its nest and started feeding several more birds when a mandarin appeared
it was a reall pretty female and was very shy, not coming too close to us
so Will left me at the river by myself to go catch his camera from home and to go and by another loaf of bread
when he got back we had a joint effort in photographing the bird (basically i was feeding it Will was photographing it)
sitting back in our little spot the very friendly duck that had fed from our hands had arrived again and after feeding it a bit more however as we turned around we heard a rather loud squelching noise. when we turned around we noticed the duck had pooed literally centimetres from where my shoes were
that was lucky we both thought as we tryed not to laugh too loud and scare th birds away
so overall very eventful trip to the river
oh and my feet now have blisters from my sandals
